The Kindergartners have had a great start to the school year. They have made new friends and learned new routines. The first six weeks of school is an important time in Kindergarten as we are building our classroom communities. The students have learned about the different areas, as well as, how to use the various materials in the classroom through Guided Discoveries.
We went on a D-E campus sculpture tour. We saw four beautiful works of art. The kindergartners chose their favorite one to illustrate.
We had so much fun exploring the blue blocks from Imagination Playground!
Block designs are an ongoing process that begin on Mondays and evolve throughout the week. The collaborative structures are cleaned up on Fridays.
Happy 125th Birthday Dwight-Englewood!!! Go Bulldogs!!
